Ministry Of Health To Carryout Mass Drug Administration Against Bilharzia In Kagadi

The Ministry of health has announced Mass Drug Administration against bilharzia in Kagadi district.

This was revealed yesterday by the senior vector control officer for Kagadi district Dr. Twebaze Chris who doubles as the focal person for tropical neglected diseases.

Speaking to our reporter, Dr. Twebaze said that, the ministry is soon delivering drugs into the district effective this month.

Dr. Twebaze further called upon every ones responsibility to participate in the exercise.

He further challenged the district stakeholders to meanwhile be sensitizing the community members about the program.
