Ugandans who remained operating after the president announced a second lockdown have also cried to the government for the 100,000 relief fund saying that they are also vulnerable.

Margaret Nakito, a fruit vendor in Kabundaire market says that since the lockdown, they have been registering diminishing returns and sometimes losses because customers don’t come normally hence the need for the 100,000 relief fund.

Godwin Turinawe who sells fresh at Mpanga market says that most of them have opted out of business since a ban on public transport, calling upon the government to also consider them vulnerable.
