Assailants Attack Boda Boda rider, Motocycle Stollen

Police in Fort Portal is investigating a case in which unknown assailants attacked a boda boda rider and took off with his motorcycle Bajaj boxer red in color Reg. No UEX 753E.

The incident happened in the wee hours of today morning at Kyanyamasika Kijanju ward central division fort portal city.

According to Twesigye Vincent the Rwenzori West Police Spokesperson, the assailants armed with hammers attacked Kyomuhendo Ephraim in his early 30’s a bodaboda rider and resident of Rwengoma B in Fort Portal. They hit him on the head leaving him with severe head injuries.

Twesigye says after the incident the Suspects took off with the motorcycle.

Mr. Mujuni Boniface the LCI chairperson Kijanju who saw the man in cold blood this morning alerted police who rushed to the scene and recovered a hammer and took the victim to Fort Portal Regional Referral Hospital.
