Good Governance Is Key For Effective Service Delivery
Good governance and leadership that is non sectarian is key as Fort Portal Tourism City become operational come 1st July 2020. The Seven municipalities that will start operation effective July 1st include Arua, Gulu, Jinja, Mbarara, Fort Portal, Masaka and Mbale.
According to Paul Kasande Drake the Chairperson Private Sector Kabarole, these cities need good governance and leadership that is not sectarian, corrupt free. He asks people to weigh leaders, and elect them basing on their vision, mission, integrity and development ideas for a prosperous city.
Kasande realizes the need to incorporate all stakeholders in the planning processes of several areas in the city so that people can participate and have the good infrastructure, youth employment, agriculture development that they are yarning for.
