Joint Security Team Storms Church in Gulu

Heavily armed security personnel on Sunday evening stormed Jesus above Family Church, a born-again denomination church located in Tegwana Sub Ward Pece Division Gulu Municipality for allegedly defying guidelines on worship.

The personnel numbering about ten composed of soldiers and police arrived aboard the police patrol vehicle registration number UP 5501, they forced their way into the church at around 5:00 PM as the church Pastor Bruce Magala alongside four others were singing praises.

The worshipers had locked themselves inside the church by the time of the incidence but opened later after the door was banged on for several minutes.

The security team inspected the church premises where songs of praise were playing loudly on a music system while the others shouted on top of their voices and danced to the hymns.
