Kabarole Give Ultimatum For Public Places to Adhere to Corona Virus Preventive Measures.

Kabarole District has given an ultimatum up to Friday 20th March 2020 for owners of public places to have put hand washing facilities at the entrance of their premises as a measure to prevent Corona Virus.
Globally, the virus has spread to 50 states with about 200,000 cases and nearly 8,000 people have died.
During an urgent press conference at the Kabarole District Chairpersons Office Kitumba Fort Portal Wednesday, Richard Rwabuhinga the District Chairperson noted that by Friday evening if the owners of hotels, schools, shops, bars among others fail to adhere to this directive and put handwashing facilities, the district Health Team in coordination with security will not hesitate to close them.
Dr. Solomon Asiimwe the Kabarole DHO revealed to journalists that Fort Portal being adjacent to Congo where Corona Virus was reported, strict measures must have been put in place and need to be followed.
