Kabarole Man Strangles Wife over Infidelity

Police in Fort Portal is hunting for Mwesige James a resident in Rwengaju Sub County Kabarole district for murdering his wife.

Mwesige a resident of Nsahu Village Kidubuli Parish Rwengaju Sub County strangled his wife Katusiime Enid 30years last night at around 11:00pm and later dumped the body in a banana plantation.

After killing the wife, Mwesige rushed to her sister’s residence, told her to go to his house and pick a letter and take it to their paternal uncle.

In the letter, Mwesige indicated and confessed to killing the wife and dumped the body in the plantation.

The Area LC1 Mr. Taddeo Kusemerwa alerted police which retrieved and transported the body to Fort Portal Referral Hospital Mortuary.

However Kusemererwa who condemned the incident, advises married couples to be patient to one another whenever a conflict arise.

ASP Twesige Vincent the Rwenzori West Police Spokesperson confirmed the incident saying Mwesige killed the wife after she was caught playing sex with another man. He says police has launched a manhunt to arrest the suspect.
