LUWERO TRIANGLE MINISTRY DONATES OVER 100 MILLION TO RWENZORI VETERANS.

The minister of state for Luwero triangle Mr. Dennis Galabuzi has today afternoon pledged 110million to the Rwenzori Katebwa civilian war veterans to support developmental projects in the association.
This came shortly after the veterans had submitted their request for money to perform different projects that will enable sustainability of their association. This was at Kyabanyaga veterans land in Karago town council, Kabarole district where the minister and other government officials had gone to visit the veteran’s Kyabanyaga project of brick laying. Minister pledged 30million shillings towards the sustainability of all veterans in every parish in Kabarole district, 70 million to be distributed to veteran SACCO’S at every sub county and 10 million to buy cement to help in the Kyabanyaga building projects
The minister tasked the youth to remain focused and take up the example of their elders who fought for the stability of the country and promised to convince president Museveni to come and launch the Kyabanyaga project of the veterans.
At the function was the Kabarole district RDC Mr. Steven Asiimwe who acknowledged the work of the veteran cadres for intensifying the move to fight for peace in the country and called upon them to maintain the spirit. Asiimwe appreciated the Luwero triangle ministry for appreciating the work of the veterans and thanked veterans for supporting the move to change article 102(b) which saw the age limit scratched off the constitution.
The Kabarole district chairperson Mr. Richard Rwabuhinga thanked veterans for continued unity and called upon the public to be NRM mouth pieces season in season out. He however called upon the ministry to recognize the youth with in civilian veterans who lost their parents and need government help
