Maracha Catholic Priest in Trouble for Impregnating Two Ladies, Child Neglect.

Father Edward Eguma, the curate of Nyadri town Catholic parish in Maracha district is in trouble for impregnating two ladies in the father’s quarters and child neglect.

One of the ladies, a senior three drop out of Logiri girls’ secondary school in Arua district has filed a case of child neglect against the priest at Arua central police station.

The other girl has only been identified as Idede Glori, a resident of Mingoro village in Odramacaku parish Ayivu in Arua city.

Idede explains that when she dropped out of school due to school fees challenges, father Eguma approached her grandfather in Indika village, Ludara sub-county in Koboko district asking to stay with her at the parish.

According to Idede, while at the parish she initially stayed with the cooks but the curate later offered her a private room.

She claims that one night, Father Eguma entered her room while she was asleep, had sex with her and pregnanted her but later neglected the child.
