Mother of a lame child who was dumped at Fort Portal Regional Referral Hospital has surfaced seeking for help.

Tumusiime Scovia a mother of the crippled child from Kigoyera sub county Kyenjojo district told VOT that her child was dumped by her father Bizimungu Varisto who separated with her two years back and went with the rest of the children.

She is now asking for well wishers to avail the child with help as she can’t manage looking after the child citing that the only source of income she has is through digging and begging.

Batamuliza Beatrice the Buhinga hospital social worker noted that the mother is living under poor conditions and the child needs attention, proper clothing and good feeding which may not be provided by the mother hence calling for help from individuals and organizations.
