POLITICIANS MUST BE FORCED TO STUDY POLITICAL EDUCATION, SAYS BISHOP
By Musa Polite
The bishop of the SDA Church mid-western mission umbrella pastor. Richard Rusoke has realized a need for all politicians vying for different political seats to go for political education training if Uganda will realize political maturity.
Speaking to our reporter at the regional headquarters in Fort Portal Municipality, bishop says that political seasons have been full of wrangles and chaos because contestants are not trained in the fields they are vying for. He adds that service delivery is also delayed because the voted people don’t know where to start from because of lack of training.

The man of God also called for peace in the election period, saying that having different political ideas should not create enemity. He called upon contestants to respect each other’s manifesto and condemned un ethical behavior of candidates who attack and abuse their opponents.
He urged those who lose elections to accept loss and cooperate with their opponents for the development of their societies.
